If you're a petite woman like me you know how it is to find a great pair of jeans that ACTUALLY FIT. And when they don't fit, you either wear leggings, jeans from the children's section or get them tailored. #THESTRUGGLEISREAL.
Luckily I did all of the dirty work for you. I scoured the internet to find the best places to purchase your next pair of jeans.
Citizens of Humanity
Maybe I'm biased because I have three pairs of these jeans but these pants are a gift from the fashion gods. Their jeans hug you in all the right places, accentuates your derriere, and are extremely comfortable. Citizens of Humanity's denim comes in an array of styles (high rise, flare, bootcut, boyfriend) and washes (medium, dark, white, grey, black). But the best part about their collection comes in a variety of sizes (23-32). Check out all of their denim for petite women here.
You can buy these babies at clothing stores like Club Monaco and Anthropologie; department stores Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom or online at Shopbop.com and MyTheresa.com. If your living in the great white north, my advice is to purchase your jeans at Aritzia (their selection at this Canadian establishment never disappoints).
Fair warning though, they are quite expensive ranging from $150-$300. So If you a want a great quality pair of jeans that will last you a lifetime, buy them!
This is the best store to purchase jeans that are cheap but are in-season. The best jeans for petite women are Jamie, or Joni Jean for women who want a more skinny jean type fit. But if your wanting to feel be a bit more adventurous with your wardrobe the Moto or Mom jeans are the way to go. Why might might you ask? Well, these jeans have a little more leg room and breathability (that way if you eat huge lunch or dinner no one will know!). Plus all their jeans are high-waisted which gives the illusion of elongating your legs. They come in many washes and colours, so you don't have to worry about variety from this company.
In terms of shopping online, I tend to go across the pond to British fashion company Asos. Their jeans are at an extremely reasonable price and they carry many well known brands like Tommy Hilfiger (hello Gigi Hadid!), Hollister, New Look, and also carry their own line of denim which is THE BEST. But probably the best part about this brand is that it is all inclusive in terms of their sizing, from a 23 waist to 42 waist. You can find their jeans here.
Now this is the place to buy your next pair of jeans if you're on a budget but want to still be stylish! These jeans are tiny, I mean tiny! You never get that bunching at the ankle or in the knees because their jeans are usually bought by petite women. You can find the jeans here.
Natalie Portman is an award-winning actress whose net worth is approximately $54 million dollars, but what if you found out that she has not been paid equally to her male co-stars in past films?
In a recent interview with Marie Claire UK, the Jackie star revealed Ashton Kutcher was paid three times more than her in the 2011 rom-com No Strings Attached. Portman told the publication that she was aware of the difference in salaries but was a bit apprehensive to voice her opinion.
"Ashton Kutcher was paid three times as much as me on No Strings Attached. I knew and went along with it because there's this thing with 'quotes' in Hollywood. Your quote is the highest you've ever been paid. His quote was three times higher than mine so they said he should get paid three times more," she told the magazine's February issue. "I was pissed as I should have been! I mean, we get paid a lot, so it's hard to complain. But the disparity is crazy. I remember talking to Ruth Bader Ginsburg about it. Compared to men, in most professions, women make 80 cents to the dollar. In Hollywood, we are making 30 cents to the dollar. "
This is not the first time an A-list Hollywood actress discussed gender and pay inequality. Jennifer Lawrence spoke about the gender wage gap in a an Lenny Letter essay in October 2015 when the Passengers star did not received the same amount of money as her co-stars Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, and Jeremy Renner in American Hustle.
UPDATE: Bella Hadid seems to not be happy about Selena Gomez's new beau. Screengrabs obtained by Elle magazine reveal that the supermodel has unfollowed the "Same Old Love" singer on Instagram after the PDA-filled pictures went public. Although Hadid still follows her ex, The Weeknd. As of right now, Gomez still follows both Hadid and the "Can't Feel My Face" musician.
Looks like Selena Gomez can't keep her hands to herself.
The "Kill Em With Kindness" singer was spotted smooching and getting cosy with Scarbarough native The Weeknd on a romantic dinner date at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in LA Tuesday night. Judging by these PDA-filled photos from TMZ, it's pretty safe to say that these two are definitely a couple.
According to US Weekly an eyewitness claimed the two lovebirds arrived at the restaurant at 9pm and "chatted animatedly in a private back room for nearly three hours, essentially closing down the place." When the couple was outside waiting to be picked up by their car, a source reveals to US: "Selena was all over him hugging, kissing [him]. She looked amazing and so incredibly happy and in love."
Selena Gomez looks as refreshed as ever after taking a 90-day hiatus in the fall and reemerging back into the spotlight at the 2016 American Music Awards.
Although some fans are questioning whether Gomez's new fling may be jeopardizing her friendship with Gigi Hadid, as Gigi's sister Bella Hadid recently broke up the "Starboy" crooner in November after dating for 18 months.
We've seen these two together before, but more on the professional side The singers both performed at the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Let's hope Bella Hadid is cool with this new romance.
We all know Donald Trump tweets whatever he wants, whenever he wants; but this time his target was none other than three-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep.
As Streep accepted the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award at the Golden Globes this past Sunday, without even uttering the President-elect's name she criticized him for mocking a disabled reporter telling the crowd:"when the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose."
On Monday morning, Trump took to Twitter calling Streep 'one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood' despite the fact that he told The Hollywood Reporter in 2015 she's an "excellent" and "fine actress."
Many A-list celebrities such as George Clooney, Ben Affleck, and Barbara Streisand came quick to Streep's defense.
People Magazine reports Clooney blasted Trump for his poor choice or words at a reception hosted by The Clooney Foundation for Justice on Monday night stating: "I've always said tha about Meryl," Clooney told People sarcastically. "She's maybe the most overrated actress of all-time. She and I worked together on Fantastic Mr. Fox as husband and wife and I will you even as a fox, a female fox, she's overrated....Aren't you supposed to be running the country?" he asked Trump rhetorically.'
Ben Affleck also called out Trump on Jimmy Kimmel Kimmel Live! last night. The Live by Night star told the late-night host: "If there's on thing truly in the world we know is not true, it's that Meryl Streep is overrated," he said. "If you look up in the encyclopedia 'great actress,' there's a picture of Meryl Streep."
The comments Trump made even had Barbara Streisand express her disgust for the man on Hardball With Chris Matthews: "I thought that she said what she said beautifully," adding that the President-elect "has the need to talk back and insult anybody who doesn't agree with him. And that's pretty disgraceful."
The Funny Girl actress commented on Trump's high praise for Streep in the past stating: "That's why you can't trust anything he says," Streisand replied, "because if you get on his wrong side, you know he will blast you negatively."
Many other stars showed their support for Meryl Streep on Twitter and tweeted their own responses to Trump.
Meryl Streep has yet to comment on Donal Trump's tweets.
The Golden Globes has got everything you want in an award shows: the stars, the fashion, incredibly moving speeches, but most importantly you get to see all your favourite celebrities get drunk in one room together.
Here is a list of the top moments at this year's award show.
Jimmy Fallon's Hilarious 'La La Land' Opening
The 74th Annual Golden Globes started off with a bang as host Jimmy Fallon performed a parody of the extensively choreographed opening scene of La La Land. While singing along to the tune of "Another Day of Sun," he danced and mingled with many A-list celebrities including Nicole Kidman, John Travolta, Amy Adams, and Mr. Robot star Rami Malek. We also see Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) who shows off her insane rapping skills declaring that Shannon Purser's character (Barb) is still alive, when Purser then remerges from a pool. The opening then follows Fallon as he performs the hypnotizing La La Land tune "City of Stars" where Tina Fey and Ryan Reynolds make a cameo in the scene. But that's not all, The Tonight Show host danced with his BFF Justin Timberlake in the night sky. The bromance is real.
Ryan Gosling's Acceptance Speech
The Canadian heartthrob won for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his role in La La Land, and his acceptance speech tugged at the heartstrings of women everywhere after thanked Eva Mendes for taking care of their two kids and holding down the fort while he filmed La La Land. Plus he gave a shoutout to his two daughters:
"I just would like to try and thank one person properly, and say that while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I've ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight cancer." "if she hadn't taken all that on so that I could have this experience, would surely be someone else up here other than me today. Sweetheart, thank you. To my daughters Amada and Esmeralda, I love you."
But it gets better. While Gosling was walking up the stage to accept his award, nominee and fellow Canadian Ryan Reynolds shares a passionate kiss with Emma Stone's ex-boyfriend and Hacksaw Ridge star Andrew Garfield.
Meryl Streep Acceptance Speech
During the actress's acceptance speech for her Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, rather than speaking about her career, she took the stage to discuss more serious matters. From unloading her disgust for Trump, to talking about her dear late friend Carrie Fisher who once said "take your broken heart and make art." It is definitely a moment that is one for the books. Check out the clip below.
Lion Star Sunny Pawar Stealing The Show
This little man absolutely stole the show last night. Dev Patel and Sunny Pawar introduced a clip for their film Lion, but all eye's were on the 8-year-old boy. Guys just look at him, he is too adorable for words!
'Hidden Fences' Mixup
On the red carpet, NBC's Jenna Bush Hager, talks to Pharrell Williams who nabbed his first Golden Globe nominee for scoring the film Hidden Figures she mistakenly refers to the uplifting Fox movie as 'Hidden Fences,' confusing it with the Paramount picture Fences. She wasn't the only one who made the mistake. Star of the upcoming click The Founder Michael Keaton also said 'Hidden Fences' while presenting an award during the show. #HiddenFences became a trending topic on Twitter with people expressing their frustration of films with black actors all being referred to as the same movie.
If your in the post award show blues like I am, there's another one on the way! The SAG Awards is happening on January 29th! Tune in for more award show coverage then.
It's been a pretty rough year for everyone. Especially those in the celebrity sphere.

Lady Gaga is giving her Little Monsters a million reasons to celebrate with joy, but also probably cry their eyes out.
The 30-year-old singer released the music video "Million Reasons", the official second single off of her latest album Joanne this Wednesday.
The music video starts with Mother Monster waking up alone in an abandoned field when three large SUV's pull up and take her away, but it's not clear who is the vehicles. The video then follows Gaga looking quite depressed while getting her makeup done, then pans to shots of the singer performing the song with an electric guitar while wearing her signature pink cowboy hat and suit. Towards the end of the music video it's revealed that Lady Gaga's close friends came to save the singer from her fragile state in the middle of nowhere.
If that doesn't pull at your heart strings there's more - The "Perfect Illusion" singer opens up a box that was placed on her dresser; inside is a sentimental note: "love you sis" with a cross necklace included.
Check out the Lady Gaga's emotional performance in the music video below!

The couple were spotted shopping for a Christmas tree together at the Pines and Needles store in London on Monday night. According to US Weekly, the Suits star flew from Toronto on Sunday night and is staying with her BF at his Nottingham Cottage home at Kensington Palace.

Crawford also told People that the Suits actress and British royal were very affectionate with one another with "lots of touching and laughing."
This not the first time the adorable couple spent some quality time together. Prince Harry jet setted from the Caribbean to see Markle at her home in Toronto last weekend. The 35-year old star also spent time with her boyfriend last month when she was the paparazzi caughter her carrying groceries from Whole Foods while walking back towards the palace.
All I got to say is if I man travels all the way around the world to see you, AND you go Christmas tree shopping - you hold on tight to him!
