The Golden Globes has got everything you want in an award shows: the stars, the fashion, incredibly moving speeches, but most importantly you get to see all your favourite celebrities get drunk in one room together.
Here is a list of the top moments at this year's award show.
Jimmy Fallon's Hilarious 'La La Land' Opening
The 74th Annual Golden Globes started off with a bang as host Jimmy Fallon performed a parody of the extensively choreographed opening scene of La La Land. While singing along to the tune of "Another Day of Sun," he danced and mingled with many A-list celebrities including Nicole Kidman, John Travolta, Amy Adams, and Mr. Robot star Rami Malek. We also see Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) who shows off her insane rapping skills declaring that Shannon Purser's character (Barb) is still alive, when Purser then remerges from a pool. The opening then follows Fallon as he performs the hypnotizing La La Land tune "City of Stars" where Tina Fey and Ryan Reynolds make a cameo in the scene. But that's not all, The Tonight Show host danced with his BFF Justin Timberlake in the night sky. The bromance is real.
Ryan Gosling's Acceptance Speech
The Canadian heartthrob won for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his role in La La Land, and his acceptance speech tugged at the heartstrings of women everywhere after thanked Eva Mendes for taking care of their two kids and holding down the fort while he filmed La La Land. Plus he gave a shoutout to his two daughters:
"I just would like to try and thank one person properly, and say that while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I've ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight cancer." "if she hadn't taken all that on so that I could have this experience, would surely be someone else up here other than me today. Sweetheart, thank you. To my daughters Amada and Esmeralda, I love you."
But it gets better. While Gosling was walking up the stage to accept his award, nominee and fellow Canadian Ryan Reynolds shares a passionate kiss with Emma Stone's ex-boyfriend and Hacksaw Ridge star Andrew Garfield.
Meryl Streep Acceptance Speech
During the actress's acceptance speech for her Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, rather than speaking about her career, she took the stage to discuss more serious matters. From unloading her disgust for Trump, to talking about her dear late friend Carrie Fisher who once said "take your broken heart and make art." It is definitely a moment that is one for the books.
